Together with the meteorological instruments, MTX offers software modules for the administration of the weather stations, the presentation and the storage of the collected data. The proposed solutions are available both for the administration of single stations and for networks with a large number of peripheral stations.
The software applications provide complete compliance with common communication systems, whether they are with a direct connection (serial or Ethernet) and / or remote (GSM / GPRS or UHF radio). Different communication processes can be invoked: based on event, at request of the station, within a polling cycle or at the request of an operator.
MTX products allow customers to receive up to date and reliable meteorological data which is the basis of a sound decision process, especially in critical environmental situations.
At presentation level MTX comes up with a webGIS application that represents the monitoring stations on the map according to their geographical location. Each station is identified by a specific icon whose appearance is dynamically changed according to its state of operation.
Finally, our software modules contain user friendly tools for the export of the collected data to external applications.
The MTX data acquisition systems are the result of its long experience in the field of electronics on support of (agro) meteorological, hydrological and other environmental applications which require the monitoring of physical parameters.
They are designed to function properly in the hardest conditions, both from an environmental as well as from an electrical point of view.
MTX offers the data acquisition system “MeteoDAS®” which represents a very powerful tool. It comes with a Linux OS installed and is designed to minimize power consumption, ideal for the installation in remote applications.
The system has a web interface for configuration and data retrieval, accessible through Ethernet or through GPRS. Data can automatically be sent also to different FTP server.
The system can be equipped with a software module that integrates specific algorithms for the “real time” monitoring of precipitation. Through threshold settings, the datalogger can send early warning messages to the Control Centre while field staff in charge of environmental control can be alerted by means of SMS.
At the same time, the device is able to activate acoustic and flashing alarm systems in order to inform the population about risk conditions.

All equipment is has an excellent resistance against mechanical stress and corrosive actions, typical for outside installations. Materials like stainless steel, aluminum, polycarbonate added to glass are used in order to avoid fast deterioration due to solar radiation and thermal stress.
All sensors are realized in respect of the WMO (World Meteorological Organization) directives.
MTX disposes of an well equipped laboratory for the calibration services of sensors. Primary sensors, used for these services, are regularly calibrated at Authorized Centres.
All products do respect EMC standards and are protected against electrical noise on communication and power lines.
