More and more attention is paid to the monitoring of water bodies both for a responsible management of water resources and also for the reason of civil protection.

In the recent past the need of intelligent monitoring stations has increased. These systems, on the occurrence of particular climatic - weather conditions, can generate autonomously reports of alert. These reports can be realized by sending SMS messages and / or activating local and remote warning systems such as beepers and lights.

Recently, in some cities, networks of intelligent monitoring stations were installed which allow, in function of the measurement of water levels and the intensity of rain, to predict the possible occurrence of floods.

MTX has a considerable experience both in terms of measurement technologies, which must adapt to extreme conditions, and both for methods of installation which have to guarantee the acquisition of representative measures.
