PAR radiation sensor

The PAR sensor PCTRA0xx is an instrument designed for the measurement of Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR); the sensor is able to measure the luminous flux (solar or artificial) expressed as the number of photons per surface unit in the unit time, in the spectral range of 400 ...700nm.
The productivity of some agricultural crops is a function of the amount of photosynthetically active radiation energy intercepted.
The sensor consists of a silicon photovoltaic cell that converts the radiant energy into electric energy. The silicon cell is fixed inside a cylindrical body, made of anodized aluminium.
The transducer is protected by a filter diffuser for cosine correction and a dome in K5.
